Reed's Aquatherm material is waterproof, lightweight and stretchy making it well suited for making hatch covers. These can either be stored in your boat for emergency replacements or be permanent additions to your sea kayak. Reed's 'Custom Made' service can even make boats with out of date hatch rims serviceable again. With their heavy duty adjustable shock cord slider and Aquatherms 360 degree stretch they are suitable in heavy seas, however they do require two hands to attach them.
